Obama to win Louisiana

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

Although RCP is currently showing Obama 10 points behind McCain in Louisiana, Pat Buchanan believes with Obama’s recent statements on Supreme Court rulings Obama can win Louisiana. This a reasonably far out assumption but we’ll see!

Buchanan: Minnesota a unlikely grab for McCain, no Clinton as VP!

Wednesday, July 9th, 2008

Pat Buchanan is having doubts that McCain can snatch up Minnesota, even with the help of Tim Pawlenty it’s Governor. Some polls in the state have McCain down by 17 points so a GOP win there is very unlikely. On the Dem. VP front though Pat thinks the vanquished Clinton won’t be Obama’s pick, but he’s certainly pushing for it.

War with Iran gives McCain a marginal boost!

Monday, June 30th, 2008

According to resident MSNBC conservative pundit Pat Buchanan strikes on Iran would give McCain an edge, be it a marginal one.

With the exposal of intense covert operations within Iran, the likeliness of a “third front” on the war on terror  increases every day. The GOP is always seen as a party more suited to protect America, but would that theory prove itself if war were to break out? Pat Buchanan thinks so.

Buchanan: “We are going to drill in the Florida straits.”

Thursday, June 19th, 2008

Pat Buchanan predicts we will drill in the Florida straits. In recent weeks the lifting of a 26 year old ban on drilling offshore has arroused public support and denounication. McCain and Bush both support lifting the ban while Obama does not. For us to drill in the Florida straits the ban would have to be repealed by Congress, will it happen? Buchannan thinks it will.

Pat predicts Eric Holder will soon “be under the bus”

Friday, June 13th, 2008

Pat Buchanan believes that with one Obama VP vetter already gone, the second one’s heading under the bus as well. Eric Holder is the second member of a 3 person vetting team Obama was using to search for VP canidates. Jim Johnson was already removed due to pressure from the GOP, and now the GOP is ratcheting up pressure on Obama to remove Holder.

Friday, June 13th, 2008

The GOP already forced Jim Johnson off Obama’s VP vetting team, they now have their eyes set on removing Holder. But besides that the third member of the team is Caroline Kennedy. Pat Buchanan says she’s clean, so we’d imagaine she won’t be removed, but in politics no ones “clean.”
