Bilbo Baggins is James McAvoy?
Perez Hilton is reporting that James McAvoy will star in the prequel to the Lord of the Rings, the Hobbit. Other names being mentioned for the film are Daniel Radcliffe and Jack Black. But sources reporting to Hilton are saying that McAvoy is the favorite. The movie begins filming in New Zealand later this year.

Jack Black is funny in some cameo roles (the biker dude from Anchorman) but I agree - not exactly a leading man. I also hate his music.
